Hi, this is Cathy filling in for Carol.
Day two was a good day...Carol was tired by the end of the day, but who wouldn't be...she got up early for the 6:30 am women's Bible study in Acts...had a great time in the Word with the group, left for the clinic at 8:15 am full of energy, visited with the nurses, her son Tim, Linda Marsic, Cathy, daughter-in-law, Erika, grandsons, Jake and Jordan, husband, Mark, and then after returning home from chemo went on a fast-paced 2 mile walk with Chelse! How about that for a jammed pack day! Please be praying for continued energy to get in some physical workouts or walks each day...and for NO nausea. Wednesday is another full day at the clinic. Carol will have her blood counts taken tomorrow...please pray for good results. The chemo can affect her immune system so the doctors have requested that all visitors to the clinic and the house please make sure they are not ill and take care to protect Carol's health by washing their hands often with anti-bacterial soap.
About every ten minutes Carol mentions how loved she feels...she is in awe of the way all of you have come together to support her and Mark in so, so many ways...not only through prayer and in notes and words of encouragement, but in many, many acts of service...you all rock! The spirit of Christ is evident in the love you are pouring out!
Please be in continual prayer for healing, chemo hitting the mark, insurance issues, energy, no nausea...and above all that God would be glorified in and through this entire process!
Thanks and love from Carol reaching out to all of you!

Hi Carol,
Your couragousness in fighting this disease and your reliance on God to get you through this is such an inspiration to me. I am praying for you, Mark and your family.

Hi Carol,
I am just one of your many disciples who is a different woman because of you. It hurts me to watch you suffer in any way but helps enormously to know how real Jesus is to you and that He will not fail you........ever. I love you so much Carol. Kathy
Carol, that last post is from Kathy Staley. I thought it would say that but it only says Kathy. How many Kathys are in your life, I wonder?

Carol, you are such an inspiration for all of us who have been through big and small things in our life. You are always there encouraging us and helping us to stay focused on Jesus. We hope that we can be there for you now. Know each day that you are cherished, loved and prayed for.
Love, Marilyn Morse
Hello again Carol. I'm glad you figured out who in the world this Kathy is!
As I was praying for you this morning the Lord reminded me of a verse I have held on to with a death grip for many years--Heb 10:35--Cast not away your confidence, it will be richly rewarded. You must persevere so that after you have done the will of God you will receive the promise." And I was thinking of how often Jesus said, "I have to", as in "Don't you know I HAVE to be about my Father's business?" And "these things HAVE to happen..." "Shall I drink the cup? This is what I came for." Isn't it a tremendous comfort that there is a Master Plan and everything is moving along according to His good plans for us and everyone around us?
That warms me today and pray it will you too. I love you,
Kathy Staley
Hi Carol,
I miss you and our walks. I am praying for your healing and strength for today. Everyone in the family, except me, has been sick. While I'd love to come over and give you a hug, I'm staying away until I'm sure the virus has passed me by.
Mary Anne
"Casting the whole of your cares (all of your anxieties, all of your worries, all your concerns once and for all) on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares for your watchfully."
I Peter 5:7
John and I are continuing to pray for you and Marc.
Affectionately, Kerry
