"No new cancer sites and there is less intensity in some of the existing sites." These are the encouraging, fantastic words Carol received from Dr. Reddy over the phone this afternoon. Thank you Lord Jesus for your kindness.
When we stopped in on Carol, she was in the front yard pruning her roses with a big smile on her face. "This means we go full steam ahead next week at Stanford," she steadfastly stated.
With the psalmist she has declared and will continue to declare to the Lord, "I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more" (Psalm 71:14).
Join Carol in praising God more and more, in both the good times and the hard times.

Carol, I am praising God for this answer to prayer... And I am grateful for the smaller blessing of you being able to hear the good news on Friday, rather than having to wait until Monday. Full steam ahead is wonderful!!! < hug > Continued prayers,
Nikki
Dear Carol, I had the privilege of meeting you and your husband at the Valley Pregnancy Center Banquet. I was Regina Gadad's "date" in lieu of her husband. I wanted to let you know that I will also be praying for you. Your words and testimony are an incredible tribute to the person that you are and your attitude towards your situation has really actually encouraged me in the minor things that i am dealing with. Thank you for your amazing grace and your heart for God's will. It truly shines through to everyone around you. I was glad to read the encouraging news and pray that you continue to be strong in Him and from the mountain of people climbing with you!
love in His grace, catherine k
Hi Carol,
My heart is dancing, leaping & praising God for you and His love for the world! I was at the Valley Pregnancy Center Gala on Friday night and participated in the "Card Board Testimony".
I would have loved to have seen you to tell you face to face that you are loved, and what a honor it is to pray for you as you fight cancer. But as you know there were over 500 people there, so this will have to do :) Rest assuresd that God hears & cares!
Much love to you and your family from your "extended family"!
Denise
Dear Porter family,
Your story and faith are an inspiration. Continued encouragement and prayers from me and my family down here in Claremont, CA. You will remain on my mind and my heart.
