A Lovely Holiday

Carol and Mark enjoyed a wonderful Christmas celebration with their sons and families. They are thankful that they could all be together for three full days. They played games, watched videos, ate delicious fondue, and had great family time.

On Wednesday the 31st, Carol had an encouraging appointment with her doctor at Stanford. This next Tuesday, January 6, Carol will have another PET scan (scheduled for 11:00 AM). Then on January 20, Carol is scheduled to check-in at Stanford for her second round of chemo directly to her liver.

Though the side effects of this latest treatment have been significant, the Lord has graciously answered our prayers and has enabled Carol to persevere. She continues to experience His faithful, very personal provision. Thank you for your continued prayers.

Dearest Carol,
I don't know whether or not you are brave or strong but your unwavering faith has been a constant source of inspiration to me. The fact that you are still with us is a miracle that leads me to praise and worship the Lord. Frankly, I'm not sure our world would be the same without you in it. Thank you for allowing us in on this wondrous journey of yours. I am looking for the day when your complete testimony will be revealed. God bless you, my dear Sister. You are special and much admired, loved and needed.
With much love and friendship, I am - Uncle Jim
